Bio
A Grammy Award-winning guitarist, producer and songwriter, Brent has worked with Pharrell Williams since 2001 across The Neptunes, N.E.R.D. and Pharrell's solo career. His studio and live credits include Frank Ocean, Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg, Post Malone, Stevie Wonder and Beck. His Minneapolis roots include co-founding Spymob, the band that became N.E.R.D.'s live backing group.
His connection with Kiko and Matt reaches back to Music Tech. Years later, Brent and Kiko built Tuniversity with Pharrell, taking it from an idea to a music education project launched with Apple at ISTE in 2017. Inspiring people to create remains central to his work.
In 10kW, Brent brings a producer's ear, a songwriter's imagination and the instincts of a guitarist who has spent decades serving the song on the biggest stages. He knows when a single line can lift a chorus, and when it's time to open up and make the whole place roar.
