Bio
Singer, guitarist, bassist, producer, engineer, arranger: Matt has spent decades mastering the work that makes music move people. His credits span Billboard-charting releases with Quietdrive and Rocket Club, music for brands including Target, Subaru, Macy's and Best Buy, and productions heard across major television networks.
His history runs through the heart of the band. He studied with Kiko and Brent at Music Tech, co-founded SellOutStereo with Kiko and built a creative partnership with Chris Hawkey that stretches back more than 20 years through Chris's recordings and Rocket Club.
Matt is the definition of a music director: he hears the whole show and knows how to bring every part together. In 10kW, that means arrangements with muscle, harmonies with depth and transitions that keep the night moving. He brings a producer's ear to the live stage, and the voice, playing and presence to deliver it himself.
